Welcome to Battle Mug!

The Battle Mug project started a few years ago when a bunch of old Army buddies sat around and contemplated what they should do with the slug of M4 carry handles they had laying around.

Long viewed as either hardcore gun guys that like to drink, or hardcore beer guys that like to shoot, it seemed only natural that these Vets would figure out a way of combining two great passions into one ass-kicking device.

Thus Battle Mug was born!
As the beer flowed and the project matured, a few things were certain:
First, Battle Mug had to be 100% MADE IN THE USA!

Second, we insisted on no compromise in the production method or materials. Sure, there are ways to make Battle Mug "offshore" by 9 year old kids, or by using some cheaper method of production like casting, but that just somehow seems un-American.

So, as these Vets pondered the question: "What is Battle Mug?"  they thought back to the Old Army days when a unit coin actually meant something.

Remember that? Do you remember the first time your Commander placed a coveted coin in your hands? Usually they had your name engraved, but at the very least they always had a serial number. A unit coin was a prize to be earned, not something that just got handed out to every Private in the platoon just for showing up to work on time 3 out of 5 days that week.

So what if Battle Mug came to represent more than just a kick-ass beer mug?

What if we put a serial number on it? What if your mug was something that represented a special event (Hail and Farewell at the unit) , an assignment, or deployment? At this point, we felt we were on to something.
Did we care if every E1 mouth breather owned a Battle Mug? NO!
Would we rather keep things exclusive and sell 300 instead of 3000? YES!

To date, Battle Mug has done exactly what we set out to do: Provide something unique and cool, but it's certainly not for everyone!
Apparently, we are on to something. We are proud to have owners from:
Air Force Special Operations
1st SFOD/CAG/Delta
1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 19th, and 20th Special Forces Groups
Navy SEALs and EOD
Super Secret Squirrel OGA-types
Australian SAS
Ground Pounding 11Bs
Force Recon/MARSOC/MSOB Marines
Law Enforcement SWAT members
State Troopers, Police Officers, and Sheriff Deputies
Private Security Contractors
A bunch of aviator types, to include secret squirrel units whose names we cant even mention.
Additionally, several have been presented to newly minted Lieutenants during commissioning ceremonies at the Air Force Academy and OCS at Ft. Benning.
And the list goes on...

Battle Mug starts life as a 13.5 pound solid block of 6061 T6 billet aluminum before it enters a state of the art CNC facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This facility produces specialized parts and equipment for the U.S. Department of Defense, major weapons manufacturers, NASA, and a host of other companies working at the U.S. Rocket and Space Center.

Built to military specifications, Battle Mug features a M1913 rail interface system which allows the operator to mount a standard issue M4 carry handle, tactical light, laser device, holographic sight (we call them beer goggles) or even a bayonet for close quarters, high risk operations.

Each individually serialized Battle Mug is built with the Operator in mind and features Mil-Spec Type III anodizing and a crenelated base.
Whether you are fighting drug lords deep in the jungles of Colombia, stomping out Al Qaida terrorists in Fallujah Iraq, or fighting off the undead as Zombies try to eat your brain,
Battle Mug is there.

It's built to take abuse and will be there to offer you a frosty 24oz. reward once the mission is complete.

Carry Handles are not included in the base price of Battle Mug.
We figure that most of you will have one or two laying around like we did.

If you need a carry handle, we offer 100% USA Made mil-spec carry handles and custom Battle Handles at a fair price in our webstore
